Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Lead Casting Buyer - Strategic Purchasing to join our global procurement team. This hybrid role focuses on casting commodities, supplier management, cost analysis, and end-to-end sourcing for cast components up to series production release.

You will lead supplier selections, negotiate framework agreements, and drive cost improvements while collaborating with internal engineering and development teams across domestic and international sites. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business management, materials management, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in strategic procurement with a focus on casting commodities.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier selection for casting commodities, evaluating new suppliers and offers, and making award decisions.
• Lead and document contract negotiations, including framework agreements on quality, capacity, cost reimbursements, and logistics.
• Oversee external procurement for cast components up to series release.
• Perform detailed cost and price analyses for cast parts, supporting development efforts with suppliers.
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities in casting materials and processes.
