Rolls-Royce is seeking a Lead Casting Buyer - Strategic Purchasing to drive supplier selection, cost analysis, and global sourcing for casting commodities. You will lead negotiations and manage external procurement up to series release, partnering with engineering and supplier teams.

The role demands deep technical and commercial expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to travel (domestic and international) in a hybrid, full-time capacity based in Aiken, SC, with relocation

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business Management, Materials Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in strategic procurement, with focus on casting commodities.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally and work flexible hours.

Responsabilidades

• Manage supplier selection for casting commodities, including evaluating new suppliers and making award decisions.
• Lead and document contract negotiations, including framework agreements addressing quality, capacity, cost reimbursements, and logistics.
• Oversee the complete external procurement process for cast components up to series production release.
• Perform cost and price analyses for cast parts and support simultaneous engineering with suppliers.
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities specific to casting materials and processes.
