Rolls-Royce Power Systems is seeking a highly experienced Strategic Buyer focused on casting commodities to join the global procurement team. The role requires deep technical and commercial expertise in cast components, supplier management, cost analysis, and global sourcing strategy.

The position involves managing supplier selection, leading contract negotiations for framework agreements, and overseeing the procurement process up to series production release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Management, Materials Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in strategic procurement with a focus on casting commodities.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally and to work flexible hours.

Responsabilités

• Manage supplier selection for casting commodities, evaluating new suppliers and awards.
• Lead and document contract negotiations, including framework agreements on quality, capacity, cost reimbursements, and logistics.
• Oversee external procurement process for cast components up to the series production release.
• Perform cost and price analyses for cast parts and support development with suppliers.
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities specific to casting materials and processes.
