Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Lead Casting Buyer for Strategic Purchasing to drive supplier selection and negotiations for casting commodities. This hybrid, full-time role in Aiken, SC (onsite 3 days/week) requires deep analytical and commercial casting expertise and international travel when needed.

You will manage external procurement through series release, perform detailed cost analyses, and lead cost-reduction initiatives with suppliers to support development efforts and ensure quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business management, materials management, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years in strategic procurement with casting commodities.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier selection for casting commodities and award decisions.
• Lead and document contract negotiations and framework agreements.
• Oversee external procurement for cast components up to series production.
• Perform cost/price analyses and support development with suppliers.
