Job summary

BankSouth seeks a driven Business Development Officer to be the face of the bank in the Savannah area, driving new business and crafting tailored cash management solutions for clients.

You will use a consultative sales process to analyze cash flows, structure client-specific solutions, and develop winning presentation strategies, while expanding relationships and increasing fee income.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of directly applicable sales and marketing experience.
• Familiarity with cash management and electronic banking systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business through a proactive calling program and cross-sell BankSouth products.
• Consult with clients on cash management and account structuring; prepare professional proposals.
• Lead community involvement and respond to proposals with market strategies to win bids.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients; coordinate with internal teams to tailor client strategies.
• Use CRM to track activities and progress toward annual business development goals.
