Job summary

The Building People in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Sr Strategic Capture Manager to drive capture activities in the Federal/DoD market and build lasting customer relationships. You will create call plans, identify opportunities, and coordinate with operations to shape winning proposals.

Requirements include 4–6 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree, proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce, and knowledge of US government contracting vehicles. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required.
• 4–6 years of relative experience in capture or related roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communications with the ability to present complex issues to executives.
• Knowledge of U.S. commercial and Government standards, regulations and codes is beneficial.
• Proficient in MS Office suite applications and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Develops, organizes, and executes client call plans around The Building People's capabilities.
• Identifies, qualifies, conducts capture and works with operations to shape opportunities.
• Conducts analysis of market opportunities within facilities management, building operations and maintenance, energy management, and workplace optimization services.
• Develops final win themes, win strategies, value propositions, and differentiators.
• Assesses and continually updates competitor capabilities, conducts SWOT analysis.
• Establishes the team needed to bid the procurement, including subcontractors.
• Ensures a coherent, integrated The Building People message to customers while promoting the full breadth and depth of The Building People's services and solutions that can support the customer's mission.
• Supports overall proposal development efforts to include reviewing/editing proposal responses, participation on "color" and review teams, and providing support across functional lines.
• Develops and tracks a strategic Call Plan which includes regular, periodic meetings with strategically relevant customer contacts.
