Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a Capture Director to join our Defense Capture Team and lead USMC and National Security pursuits, including Special Operations and Combatant Commands. You will oversee the development and execution of capture strategies, coordinate with account executives, and drive opportunities through to award, ensuring a strong PWin across complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years in sales/business development/capture.
• Proven track record of capturing and winning >$100M in new business.
• Experience within Marine Corps, COCOM, SOF and related acquisition ecosystems.
• Strategic thinker capable of creating and executing pursuit and capture strategies.
• Proven sales experience in competitive systems engineering and professional services markets.
• Ability to drive capture through Opportunity Positioning, Qualification, Proposal Development and Closing.
• Experience with CRM, opportunity tracking and various contract types (cost-plus, fixed-price, etc.).
• Familiarity with major acquisition vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Capture Plan through all proposal phases.
• Establish MCNS customer intelligence and rapport with account executives.
• Manage all capture activities to improve PWin (solution, teaming, staffing, etc.).
• Lead capture gate reviews and apply best practices.
• Create schedules for capture activities between gate reviews.
• Develop capture and win strategy with Proposal Team and pricing targets.
• Identify investment needs (facilities, hires, capex) for managed services.
• Coordinate with the division to secure operations support for RFIs, White Papers, and RFPs.
