Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Consulting Manager for Construction and Real Estate Advisory to lead program reviews, contract cost audits, and real estate management assessments across the United States. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in construction management or related fields, plus a relevant degree (CPA/CIA/PE preferred).

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in construction management or real estate advisory.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, Accounting, or related field; CPA/CIA/CCA/CFE, PMP, or PE preferred.
• Knowledge of planning, procurement, scheduling, cost estimating, reporting and closeout in construction and real estate.
• Experience conducting contract compliance audits and CAM reconciliations for public and private sector clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; client-facing reports and presentations.
• Oversee and support project management activities with schedules, budgets, resources and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews of construction and real estate processes, controls, and compliance to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assess construction contracts, lease agreements, and capital project performance for regulatory compliance.
• Provide actionable recommendations to enhance transparency and operational efficiency.
• Lead fieldwork including data collection, site visits, interviews, and documentation; prepare reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with project managers, asset managers, legal counsel, clients, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Support real estate and capital project lifecycle from acquisition to disposition.
