Job summary

Baker Tilly US, LLP is seeking a Consulting Manager in Construction and Real Estate Advisory to lead program reviews, contract cost audits, and real estate assessments across the United States. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, deliver actionable recommendations, manage client relationships, and ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and objectives.

Travel up to 25% is required as part of client engagements, and you will continue to expand industry knowledge and technical skills within

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in construction management, real estate advisory, or capital projects consulting.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering/Architecture/Building Science/Construction Management or Accounting; professional certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of planning, pre-construction, procurement, contract administration, scheduling, cost estimating and reporting; real estate portfolio management.
• Experience conducting contract compliance audits and CAM reconciliations for public and private sector clients preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to produce client-facing reports.
• Ability to lead engagements, coordinate schedules and resources, and ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews of construction and real estate management processes, controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Assess construction contracts, real estate lease agreements, and capital project performance for adherence to terms and regulations.
• Provide actionable recommendations to enhance transparency, accountability and operational efficiency.
• Lead fieldwork activities, collect data, perform interviews, and prepare summarized reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers, asset managers, legal counsel, contractors and clients to support oversight and risk mitigation.
• Support clients through the real estate and capital project lifecycle from acquisition to disposition.
