Job summary

Baker Tilly, a leading advisory firm, seeks a Consulting Manager for Construction & Real Estate Advisory across the United States. You will perform program reviews, contract cost audits, and real estate assessments while offering best-practice consulting for capital projects and property operations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction or real estate consulting, with strong communication skills and willingness to travel up to 25%. CPA, CIA, CCA, CFE, PMP, or PE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of related experience in construction management or real estate advisory
• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, Accounting or related field; CPA/CIA/CCA/CFE/PMP/PE preferred
• Knowledge of construction phases: planning, pre-construction, sourcing, contract administration, scheduling, cost estimating, reporting
• Experience with contract compliance audits and CAM reconciliations in public or private sectors
• Excellent written and verbal communication for client-facing reports

Responsibilities

• Conduct construction and real estate management process reviews to identify improvement opportunities
• Assess contracts, lease agreements, and capital project performance for compliance and value
• Provide actionable recommendations to enhance transparency and efficiency
• Lead fieldwork: data collection, site visits, interviews, and findings documentation
• Collaborate with project managers, asset managers, legal, clients, contractors and stakeholders
• Support real estate and capital project lifecycles from acquisition to disposition aligning with objectives
