Job summary

Solenis LLC is seeking an experienced leader to drive capital projects across the North American plant network. You will provide project leadership from planning and budgeting through execution, commissioning, and closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget alignment with business objectives.

You will mentor Project Managers and Engineers, support CapEx planning and forecasting, and ensure effective progress through the Stage Gate process for multi-million-dollar initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing capital projects in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment.
• Extensive working knowledge of capital project processes including budgeting, forecasting, project accounting, and general accounting policies.
• Strong understanding of project cost management, scheduling, and financial reporting.
• Experience with multidisciplinary teams and multiple sites.
• Ability to travel 50-80%.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium to large-scale capital projects from concept through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project scope, schedules, budgets, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across Engineering, Operations, EHS, Finance, and Procurement.
• Monitor project performance, address risks, delays, and cost variances.
• Champion project teams through the Stage Gate process.
• Review business cases and milestones with relevant documentation.
• Mentor Project Managers, Engineers, and team members.
• Support continuous improvement in capital planning, cost management, and reporting.
• Facilitate communication between plant leadership and senior management.
• Prepare and present portfolio updates to leadership.
