Job summary

Solenis is seeking a seasoned capital projects leader to drive multi-million dollar programs across the North American plant network. You will guide planning, budgeting, and execution from concept through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, and cost targets are met while aligning with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, PM, Business, Finance, or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience managing capital projects in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Extensive knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, project accounting, and general accounting policies.
• Strong understanding of project cost management, forecasting, scheduling, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of construction and engineering principles.
• Ownership of Safe work environment for projects.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Experience with multidisciplinary teams and multi-site projects.
• Ability to travel 50-80%.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium to large-scale capital projects from concept through design, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project scope, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across Engineering, Operations, EHS, Finance, Procurement, R&D, etc.
• Monitor project performance and address risks, delays, and cost variances.
• Champion the Stage Gate process across projects.
• Review business cases, scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and risk assessments at milestones.
• Mentor Project Managers, Engineers, and team members.
• Support continuous improvement in capital planning and cost management.
• Facilitate communication between plant leadership, project teams, Finance, Engineering, and management.
• Prepare and present project updates and portfolio information.
