Job summary

IEM is seeking a Senior Capital Project Manager to lead and administer capital projects from early programming through closeout for the Facilities & Workplace department. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence while aligning with company standards and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes governance development, portfolio planning, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders across internal teams and external partners. Travel to project sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Experience in managing projects from conception through completion.
• Experience managing multiple capital projects concurrently with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience in commercial/industrial Tenant Improvements and ground up construction.
• Experience utilizing AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude).
• Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the scope, schedule, budget, and quality of capital projects.
• Oversee full project lifecycle from programming to closeout.
• Develop and maintain the project execution plan, specs, and documents.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide oversight for internal teams and external vendors/contractors.
• Coordinate communications with all parties involved to drive progress.
• Prepare reports and presentations for Management and Executives.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify codes and safety standards.
