Job summary

IPM is seeking a Capital Project Manager to drive capital initiatives across programs with Lean and OpEx principles. The role interfaces with senior client leadership to translate business strategy into executable roadmaps, manage end-to-end project lifecycles, and embed continuous improvement in delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least 8 years of professional experience delivering capital projects in consulting or matrixed environments.
• Strong foundation in capital project management best practices and operational excellence methodologies.
• Experience across Life Sciences, Consumer, and/or Industrial sectors.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders as owner's representative and trusted advisor.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PE, APICS are a plus.
• Familiarity with GMP, FDA, OSHA, ISO, and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful delivery outcomes across end-to-end or phase-driven projects from initiation to commissioning.
• Manage projects within scope, schedule, and budget while meeting IPM standards.
• Act as trusted advisor to client leaders, translating strategy into executable capital roadmaps and managing vendor relationships.
• Lead or support front-end planning, scope definition, design readiness, and realization across execution, commissioning, startup.
• Embed Lean, OpEx, and Continuous Improvement into capital planning and execution.
• Collaborate with Quality, Validation, and Regulatory teams to ensure compliant, right-first-time delivery in GMP environments.
• Integrate capital projects into site OpEx and quality maturity models.
• Support growth, automation, sustainability, and productivity investments to improve throughput and reduce downtime.
• Identify execution risks and lead mitigation planning.
• Develop capital playbooks, standards, templates, and delivery frameworks; support organizational readiness for new assets and processes.
• Create and present executive-level and final project readouts.
