Job summary

CSX is seeking a Capital Planning Analyst to support the capital planning process through analytical review and implementation of improvement opportunities. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in finance, accounting, engineering, economics, statistics, or business analytics.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with ability to build financial models.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve Authority for Expenditures (AFE) ensuring alignment with the capital plan.
• Analyze requests for capital adjustments and provide feedback to Finance partners.
• Coordinate monthly and annual capital planning processes and timelines.
• Prepare executive presentations for Capital Committee and Board meetings.
