Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a Financial Analyst – Capital Planning to support CAPEX forecasting, tracking, and fixed asset accounting. You will partner with Operations, Facilities, Purchasing, and Accounting to ensure accurate financial analysis, capital project scheduling, and timely capitalization of assets placed in service.

The role demands strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, project accounting, or fixed asset accounting.
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, construction, or capital-intensive environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with department leaders to develop and maintain CAPEX budgets, forecasts, and long-range capital plans.
• Support CAPEX workflow and review requests for compliance with capitalization, documentation, and approval policies.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Facilities, Operations, and Accounting to monitor capital project progress, POs, invoices, commitments, and forecast-to-complete amounts.
• Identify and communicate budget, cost, timing, and documentation issues to project owners and Finance leadership.
• Prepare CAPEX spending, project status, cash flow, and budget variance reporting for monthly leadership decks.
• Reconcile construction-in-progress balances to schedules and the general ledger monthly.
• Coordinate financial closeout of completed capital projects including final cost review and capitalization.
