LGC Biosearch Technologies in Petaluma, CA is seeking a Buyer / Supply Chain Specialist to independently execute sourcing and procurement for assigned categories, manage supplier relationships, and ensure contract compliance while delivering cost savings and supply continuity.

The role supports material planning by analyzing inventory and risks, collaborates with planning, production, and operations, and assists with NDAs and supplier agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in related field.
• Proficiency in leading ERP software (IFS/SAP).
• Familiarity with MRP and Master Data in Purchasing.
• Knowledge of documentation and processes supporting material planning.
• Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing & procurement execution across assigned categories and suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships, track orders and ensure compliance with contracts.
• Support NDAs and supplier agreements; maintain procurement documentation.
• Analyze inventory data and monitor supply risks to support planning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and production teams to minimize disruption.
