Job summary

LGC Biosearch Technologies is seeking a Process Lead for Supply Chain Planning to oversee complex, strategic planning across demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and quality. You will influence cross‑functional decisions and mentor junior planners while improving planning processes.

The role focuses on leading integrated planning activities, developing long-term capacity scenarios, and partnering with Purchasing to address supply risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Five+ years of relevant experience in supply, production, materials, or manufacturing planning.
• Advanced knowledge of ERP/MRP concepts and planning transactions.
• Strong data-analysis and performance-measurement skills.
• Knowledge of planning parameters, inventory strategy, capacity modeling, order management, and master-data governance.
• Ability to lead cross-functional discussions and present clear recommendations to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Direct integrated supply, production, inventory, and capacity planning for complex, high-impact areas.
• Convert demand, inventory strategy, and service requirements into actionable production and replenishment plans.
• Develop scenarios to measure service, inventory, capacity, cost, quality, and trade-offs.
• Analyze MRP outcomes and direct solutions for shortages, surplus, and schedule issues.
• Lead SIOP forums and present assumptions, scenarios, risks, and decisions.
