Job summary

You will monitor inventory, manage delivery scheduling, negotiate with suppliers, and work across engineering, manufacturing, and program management to keep critical parts moving. The role is full-time for new college graduates with a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain or related field; GPA 3.0+ preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• GPA of 3.0 or above preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality.
• Follow-up on orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain records.
• Adhere to standard purchasing processes.
• Proactively drive and ensure timely delivery/shipment of parts from supplier to Applied factories, including resolution of shipment/receiving and billing issues with supplier.
• Partner with suppliers on demand/supply collaboration.
• Execute and manage pull-ins/push-outs with suppliers to meet MRP demand.
• Drive inventory and E&Z reduction efforts.
• Negotiate and execute purchase and RFQ to drive the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need, with support from more experienced buyer.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, manufacturing, Program Managers) to resolve supply issue.
