Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in governmental and/or industrial construction or production buying.
• Must complete EHS assigned regulatory training for work area as described by PSM’s EHS Training Matrix.

Responsibilities

• Use computerized procurement system for reports and purchase orders per policies.
• Establish sources of supply and interface with Engineering for approvals.
• Maintain and update qualified vendors list.
• Process procurement documentation and resolve delivery lead-time constraints.
• Develop, receive, process and evaluate bid packages and vendor responses.
• Obtain and document quotes from vendors and identify new suppliers to reduce costs and improve quality.
• Prepare and process various orders and expediting as directed.
