HANWHA POWER US LLC is seeking a Buyer in Jupiter, FL, to manage procurement activities for materials, equipment and services. The role interfaces with Engineering and user personnel to secure technical approvals and optimize costs.

The candidate will maintain vendor qualifications, handle bid packages, issue various orders, and drive negotiations while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience are required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• 3+ years of procurement experience in governmental or industrial construction or production buying.
• Must have experience with SAP.

Responsabilidades

• Utilize procurement system for generation and verification of reports and purchase orders.
• Establish sources of supply and interface with Engineering and users for technical approvals.
• Maintain vendors list and update files as necessary.
• Process procurement documents and resolve lead-time constraints.
• Develop and evaluate bid packages and supplier responses for surplus items.
• Obtain quotes from vendors in writing or by phone.
• Identify new suppliers to reduce costs and improve quality.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, change orders, blanket orders and other orders.
• Issue and maintain blanket purchase orders with expirations and limits.
• Attend staff meetings and vendor visits; prepare memos and forms as needed.
• Negotiate effectively with suppliers.
