Job summary

ProMach, Inc. is seeking a Buyer to source, purchase, and manage inventory for optimal operations. You will evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing and contracts, place purchase orders, and track delivery performance to ensure timely procurement.

Collaborating with manufacturing, planning, engineering, and other departments, you will maintain item master data and drive cost efficiency within the Syteline ERP environment. This role offers growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience purchasing components utilizing MRP/ERP.
• Ability to research, analyze and negotiate purchasing terms.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a dynamic workload.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Source, purchase, and manage inventory of materials, products and services.
• Evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing/contracts, issue PO's, monitor delivery schedules.
• Forecast purchasing needs and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Resolve supply chain issues while ensuring compliance with policies and quality standards.
• Maintain item master records, BOMs, MoM, and costing data in the ERP system.
