Job summary

Bartelt Packaging, part of ProMach, seeks an experienced Buyer to source materials, negotiate with suppliers, and manage procurement for manufacturing operations. You will analyze technical drawings, issue POs, and drive supplier development to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

This role requires strong ERP/MRP proficiency and cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Operations, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase materials, components, and services for Bartelt manufacturing operations.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate quotes, and analyze technical specs.
• Issue purchase orders and ensure vendor quality, cost, and delivery.
• Conduct supplier development activities, audits, and KPI analyses via ERP data.
• Resolve purchasing and invoicing issues and ensure timely deliveries.
