Job summary

ProMach has an opening for a Buyer who will source, purchase, and manage materials and services to support manufacturing and new product development. You will evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, place orders, and monitor delivery while aligning with quality standards and company policies.

The role requires 3+ years in purchasing with MRP/ERP, strong negotiation, and excellent communication skills. A fast-paced environment, collaboration with manufacturing and engineering, and ERP proficiency

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience purchasing components using MRP/ERP
• Ability to research, analyze and negotiate
• Quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment while prioritizing workload
• Excellent written and verbal communication with professional etiquette
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ERP systems and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Source, purchase, and manage inventory of materials and services
• Evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing and contracts
• Place purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules
• Coordinate with manufacturing, planning, inventory, and engineering teams
• Maintain item master records and BOM data
• Track on-time delivery and vendor performance
• Assist in expediting and resolving supplier issues
• Collaborate with ERP system administration and vendors
