Job summary

Catapult Global in Henderson, NV seeks a Purchasing Buyer/Planner to manage material planning and purchasing to support production and customer delivery. You will forecast demand, manage inventory levels, negotiate pricing and terms, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure materials arrive on time and at the right cost.

Responsibilities include sourcing, supplier coordination, cost tracking, PO management, and expediting to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• 2+ years purchasing, planning, or supply chain experience.
• Knowledge of procurement, MRP, and inventory control practices.
• Experience negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery conditions.
• Strong analytical and communication skills in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and procure materials, components, and finished goods based on MRP, forecasts, and demand.
• Monitor and adjust inventory levels to support production schedules.
• Review MRP outputs, validate data accuracy, and execute purchasing actions.
• Align material demand with supplier lead times and identify supply risks.
• Create, revise, and manage purchase orders including confirmations and changes.
• Expedite or de-expedite to support production and shipment timelines.
• Resolve supply issues including delays, shortages, and logistics challenges.
• Provide supply status updates to Account Managers and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate ERP data (pricing, lead times, order status).
