Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience sourcing industrial components and negotiating pricing.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office suite.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Source mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, fabricated, and industrial components for manufacturing and projects.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Solicit quotes, negotiate terms, lead times, and schedules with vendors.
  • Maintain supplier relationships and pursue continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Create and manage purchase orders in ERP; monitor open POs and deliveries.
