Job summary

cleanwater1 is seeking a Buyer/Planner for its Milpitas, CA facility. This non-exempt role supports Purchasing, Planning, and Finance with inventory control, procurement, and related administrative tasks.

The base salary range is $35–$42 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, life and AD&D insurance, and company-paid programs. Office setting with ~80% clerical work and ~20% light industrial duties.

Qualifications

• Administrative experience in a professional setting.
• Prior planning/purchasing experience.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfortable speaking on the telephone.
• Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with ERP systems in general.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word; and
• Ability to multi-task and support multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize inventory and maintain forecast-driven inventory levels.
• Coordinate procurement of raw materials and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Expedite material orders and support Manufacturing with purchase and sales orders.
