Job summary

Lithionics Battery is seeking a Buyer/Planner in Clearwater, FL to ensure material availability for production and supplier performance. You will own POs, manage supplier commitments, and coordinate across Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to prevent delays.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and how they support purchasing and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own purchase orders and supplier commitments from release through delivery to support production requirements.
• Review ERP/MRP requirements and maintain material availability and inventory levels.
• Communicate forecasts, purchase orders, and delivery expectations to suppliers.
• Expedite critical materials and resolve supply or delivery issues.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and monitor performance, pricing, quality, delivery, and value.
• Support supplier negotiations involving pricing, terms, materials, and services.
• Coordinate purchasing activities related to engineering changes and new materials.
• Resolve invoice, receiving, pricing, and material discrepancies.
• Respond to changing production priorities or customer requirements.
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and Planning teams.
