Job summary

FOGG, part of ProMach, seeks a dynamic Buyer to manage procurement of capital and non-capital items for production. You will develop sources of supply and coordinate with engineering to ensure accurate parts and timely delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics (or engineering-equivalent), strong MS Excel skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional travel. Join a team that values initiative and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics Management, or equivalent.
• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
• Computer skills, including working familiarity with MS Excel; effective written and verbal communication skills; and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift parts, materials and/or product weighting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sources and procures materials and services to support manufacturing requirements.
• Coordinates supplier base to assure lead time, pricing, quality and on-time delivered.
• Negotiates contract terms and conditions with senior management directives.
• Evaluates blueprints and provides feedback to engineering from vendors.
• Maintains supplier profiles and procurement databases; issues purchase orders.
