Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Business Unit Director for a strategic OEM/Tier1 account in the Valley Green, PA area. You will own the customer within the Cable Backplane unit, leading cross‑functional teams across engineering, product management, marketing, operations, and finance to deliver best‑in‑class solutions.

Senior leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Experience with strategic planning and market development.
Proven ability to manage P&L and cross-functional teams.
Strong communication across global, matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

Lead a matrixed team spanning Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales/Marketing, Finance and Operations.
Own account P&L and drive cost improvements, pricing negotiations, and contracts.
Collaborate with Product Management to align solutions with customer needs.
Drive execution with engineering and operations to deliver high-performing customer solutions.
Partner with Quality to resolve issues and ensure CSAT across stages.
Define and execute customer-specific strategic roadmaps for product development and market expansion.
Build business relationships and sustain executive reviews with the customer and internal stakeholders.
Establish KPIs and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
