Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions is seeking a Business Unit Director to lead a key OEM/Tier 1 account within the Cable Backplane unit in Valley Green, PA. You will own the customer relationship end-to-end, drive strategy, and oversee engineering, product management, marketing, operations, and quality to deliver world-class solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of senior leadership experience, including customer facing roles.
• Industry knowledge of Telecom/Datacom market segments.
• Matrixed organization experience with cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record in strategic planning and financial management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Lead a matrixed team across Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales/Marketing, Finance, and Operations to meet customer needs and influence product roadmaps.
• Account P&L ownership with revenue targets and cost-improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product Management to deliver solutions aligned with customer needs and market demands.
• Drive execution with engineering and operations for world-class customer solutions.
• Partner with Quality to ensure timely issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Define and execute customer-specific strategic roadmaps for product development and market expansion.
• Own the customer relationship end-to-end and monitor KPIs across departments.
• Foster a customer-first culture and engage with key customers and channel partners.
