Job summary

Verkada is hiring for a Business Systems role in San Mateo to empower the CIO organization with large-scale technology programs that improve ROI and profitability. You will streamline processes, reduce manual work, and enable data-driven decisions across FLOPS and other functions.

You will collaborate on enterprise integrations, design scalable solutions, and drive requirements sessions while guiding the end-to-end Q2C processes from billing to quoting and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, CS, Finance or other technical/analytical field is required.
• Minimum 4+ years of relevant business experience.
• Familiarity with UI/UX tools and Flowchart tools (e.g., Figma, Lucidchart).
• Experience designing and supporting integrations between business systems (e.g., Netsuite, Salesforce, 3PLs, expense systems).
• Understand key processes across the entire employee lifecycle.
• Strong work ethic and ownership; ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing and able to commute 5 days in office (San Mateo, CA).

Responsibilities

• Partner with FLOPS and other functions to address business challenges with focus on systems, data pipelines, infrastructure, and large-scale IT initiatives.
• Implement best-practice solutions to drive scalability and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with FLOPS engineers and stakeholders to design, build, and implement engineering solutions for deliverables.
• Lead cross-functional requirement sessions to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements and identify scope.
• Prepare and review documentation for current processes, pain points, and assumptions; identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
• Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards to improve user experience and scalability.
• Familiarity with end-to-end Q2C processes including quoting, transacting, and billing.
