Job summary

Varo Bank is seeking a talented Business Systems Analyst to review, analyze, and evaluate enterprise IT systems, ensuring alignment with business strategy. The role involves overseeing Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and Atlassian Suite environments, plus API integrations and automation.

You will translate requirements into technical solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support secure, scalable IT platforms across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field.
• 3–5 years of business systems or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience building automations, API integrations, and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, Go, PowerShell).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, relationship-building mindset.
• Proven ability to gather requirements using interviews, workshops, observation, and document analysis.
• Ability to communicate with various stakeholders to transform business requirements into technical implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to data confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and streamline business application systems in support of organizational objectives through collaboration with business partners, executives, and IT leaders.
• Translate business requirements into well-designed and integrated technology solutions, while improving user adoption and satisfaction.
• Recommend enhancements to applications by partnering with Project Managers and business partners to define scope or business case analysis.
• Proactively drive adoption of approved methodologies and tools to improve outcomes, compliance, costs, and efficiency.
• Provide advanced technical support for escalated issues and collaborate with partners, vendors, and team members to resolve issues.
