Job summary

Varo Bank in Charlotte, NC seeks a Business Systems Analyst to review, analyze, and optimize enterprise IT systems and integrations. You will oversee Okta Identity Management, Google Workspace, Slack and Atlassian suite administration and automation, aligning solutions with business strategy.

You will collaborate with business partners and IT leaders to translate requirements into technical designs, improve user adoption, and ensure security and efficiency across SaaS platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• 3–5 years of business systems or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience building and supporting automations, API integrations, and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, Go, PowerShell).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Proven ability to gather requirements via interviews, workshops and document analysis.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical implementations for stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data confidentiality focus.
• Experience with AWS, Confluence, GitLab, Google Workspace, Jira, macOS, Linux, Okta, Slack, Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and streamline business application systems in collaboration with executives and IT leaders for stability, security and value.
• Translate business requirements into integrated technology solutions and drive user adoption.
• Recommend enhancements and define scope with project managers and business partners.
• Drive adoption of approved methodologies and tools to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Provide advanced technical support and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues.
