Job summary

TIAA in Dallas is seeking a Business Management professional to provide strategic advice for the assigned area, analyzing metrics to support business strategies and driving policies that shape overall performance.

The role serves as a central contact for leaders, overseeing risks, budgets, milestones, and execution in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. A university degree is preferred and 5+ years in business management are required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of business management experience.
• 7 years preferred in a large management consulting firm or internal corporate function.
• Experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Track record of execution and driving results.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Must be able to work independently, as well as in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a technical/functional master in assigned area and makes decisions on tactical issues that impact the business.
• Oversees policy implementation in support of the business area strategy.
• Drives process improvements in the assigned business area.
• Analyzes and reports to senior management on area data and performance metrics.
• Oversees business management projects by monitoring risks, issues and action items.
• Drives and oversees meeting planning in support of business projects and objectives.
• Influences the development of new strategic initiatives by tracking budgets and milestones.
