Graybar is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow the end-user and contractor markets in the United States. You will coordinate resources, leverage relationships, and create new business opportunities while driving negotiations and closing sales.

The role emphasizes prospecting, presenting Graybar’s solutions, and providing product‑spec expertise to end users, installers, engineers and consultants. Travel is required; a personal vehicle may be used.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in sales, marketing or operations preferred.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business, develop leads, close sales
• Sell Graybar’s solutions platform
• Conduct sales presentations to potential customers
• Provide expertise to end users, installers, consultants, engineers, etc. regarding product specifications
• Participate in professional organizations to enhance lead generation potential
• Meet or exceed assigned annual sales and profitability budgets
