Job summary

BluSky Restoration Contractors seeks a Business Development Manager to drive growth in emergency services and restoration across the Minneapolis region. The role emphasizes building relationships, generating leads, and expanding the client base through strategic outreach and partnerships.

The candidate will manage sales activities, attend events, and work with the sales team to implement BluSky’s process. Requires field travel and a strong track record in prospecting and closing deals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales experience.
• Willingness to attend networking events in evenings/weekends.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience logging and tracking sales activities in a CRM.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Outgoing, driven, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Nurture and expand existing business relationships to increase lead generation and average job size.
• Locate, present to, and sell BluSky to new prospects.
• Maintain membership and involvement in targeted associations and leadership positions.
• Follow the established sales process to support BluSky sales efforts.
• Meet KPI targets for face-to-face activity and prospecting.
• Prepare and present sales proposals and contingency plans.
• Build a strong book of business by connecting with clients and prospects.
