Job summary

Lathrop GPM LLP is seeking a Manager - Business Development in Kansas City, MO or Minneapolis, MN. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will evolve the firm’s business development strategy and drive new business from existing clients and prospects, coordinating with pricing, marketing, and practice groups.

You will manage pitches, client communications, and cross-functional initiatives, while coaching attorneys and leading BD training programs to maximize growth and ROI.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of marketing or business development experience
• Strong project management and budgeting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CCO and Director of Business Development to identify opportunities for revenue growth from existing and prospective clients.
• Oversee pitches, proposals, and RFPs for assigned groups, coordinating with pricing and marketing teams.
• Develop annual business plans for assigned groups aligned with the firm’s strategy.
• Coach attorneys and staff on business development initiatives and performance plans.
