Job summary

Arkema Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth for Organic Peroxides in the Americas. You will act as the primary link between customers, R&D, and commercial teams to develop and commercialize differentiated opportunities.

The role requires about 50-60% travel across North America and a strong background in R&D, technical development, or business development. A technical degree plus MBA is advantageous, with a robust pipeline leadership expectation.

Qualifications

Around 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 in R&D, Technical, or Business Development.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Processing, or Materials Science. An advanced technical degree or MBA would be a plus!
Ability to travel 50-60% of the time, mostly throughout North America.

Responsibilities

Develop and commercialize technically differentiated growth opportunities for Organic Peroxides in the Americas region, serving as the primary interface between customer, R&D, and commercial teams
Manage a rich pipeline of development opportunities with at least $70M in sales potential within 5 years - this includes development new applications and technologies, while identifying key opportunities where our business can provide specialized customer value
Translate technical & operational customer challenges into development projects with clear technical and commercial objectives
