Job summary

The Arkema Group in the United States is seeking a Business Development Manager to develop and commercialize technically differentiated growth opportunities for Organic Peroxides in the Americas. You will serve as the primary interface between customers, R&D, and commercial teams.

This role requires roughly 5 years of R&D or business development experience and a technical degree; travel 50-60% across North America is expected.

Qualifications

• ~10 years of professional experience with at least 5 in R&D, technical, or business development.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Chemistry, polymer processing, or materials science; MBA a plus.
• Willingness to travel 50-60% across North America.

Key Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, you will…

• Develop and commercialize technically differentiated growth opportunities for Organic Peroxides in the Americas region, serving as the primary interface between customer, R&D, and commercial teams
• Manage a rich pipeline of development opportunities with at least $70M in sales potential within 5 years – this includes development new applications and technologies, while identifying key opportunities where our business can provide specialized customer value
• Translate technical & operational customer challenges into development projects with clear technical and commercial objectives

• Around 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 spent in R&D, Technical, or Business Development
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Processing, or Materials Science. An advanced technical degree or MBA would be a plus!
• Ability to travel 50-60% of the time, mostly throughout North America
