Job summary

McGill Environmental Systems is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our footprint in the Mid-Atlantic from Richmond, VA. You will manage key customer relationships, lead a client-facing team, and drive growth while communicating complex environmental topics to diverse stakeholders.

The role requires strong industry knowledge in wastewater, organics recycling, and composting, along with strategic thinking and field leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, Communications, or related field or equivalent industry experience.
• 5–7 years in account management, customer relationships, business development or related client-facing role with travel.
• Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills for complex interactions with customers and executives.
• Experience leading, mentoring and developing professional staff.
• Knowledge of wastewater, biosolids, organics recycling, composting or environmental services.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with high responsiveness.
