Job summary

You will work with office leadership, practice and sector teams to develop annual BD plans, create capture strategies, and manage opportunities from RFx to win/loss analysis in Salesforce. The role requires a 10+ year track record in architecture or related industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or related subject.
• 10+ years of business development experience.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM.
• Proven sales track record with client relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Conducts market analysis to inform yearly BD planning.
• Collaborates with office, practice and sector leadership to establish yearly BD plans and targeted clients.
• Executes yearly BD plans working with project teams and leadership.
• Creates capture plans for yearly targeted clients and executes them with teams.
• Develops and maintains relationships with prospective clients across practices and offices.
• Positions HKS as a thought leader and problem solver to clients and influencers.
• Represents HKS at local, regional and national events, including conferences.
• Coordinates and tracks BD pursuits in Salesforce for reporting and pipeline management.
