Job summary

HKS, Inc. seeks a Lead Project Architect in Dallas to envision, design and deliver exceptional projects for clients. You will provide technical leadership, manage teams, and coordinate with stakeholders to meet design intent and approvals.

The role requires accredited architecture degree, 15+ years of experience, and architectural registration. Travel will be required as part of project involvement.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture.
• Typically 15+ years of experience.
• Architectural Registration required.
• Sustainable design accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads team and other Project Architects in planning work and developing solutions to technical and design detail problems.
• Collaborates with PIC/PM in defining project work plans and developing and managing the production schedule.
• Leads the creation and modification of complex implementation documents to reflect the design intent.
• Leads development of code analysis and confirms code and zoning requirements are met.
• Supervises documents preparation, QA/QC, and alignment with HKS standards.
• Manages technical resolution and coordination for the project.
• Writes reports or specifications for assigned project.
• Prepares client presentations and presents design concepts and drawings.
• Maintains open communication with client and guides projects.
• Coordinates with PM, clients, agencies, consultants and contractors to obtain approvals.
