The role reports to the VP of Business Recruitment & Special Projects and works across departments to ensure responsive, professional, and solution-driven service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or significant industry experience.
• 3+ years in economic development, business development, account management, or related field.
• Strong relationships with business and community stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a small team.
• Proficiency with CRM systems or willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison to local programs supporting existing industry, small business, and entrepreneurial efforts.
• Identify growth opportunities, risks, workforce needs, and infrastructure issues affecting performance.
• Coordinate internal and partner resources to support businesses.
• Maintain relationships with local partners.
• Collaborate on prospect development, site visits, and project coordination.
• Input and maintain data in Salesforce.
• Assist with RFP/RFI responses and company profiles, and briefings.
• Work with research, marketing, talent, and operations to address business needs.
• Represent Invest Greenville at events.
