Job summary

Platinum Global Talent Solutions is seeking a seasoned Business and Architecture Analyst to support the Hudson Tunnel Project and other large-scale capital initiatives in a cloud-first environment. The role focuses on technology portfolio management, enterprise architecture analysis, data governance, and governance reporting to leadership.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in BPMN process mapping, CMDB/tooling, and hands-on data analysis using Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or enterprise architecture analysis.
• Two or more years of experience maintaining an application portfolio, CMDB, or technology inventory.
• Experience creating process maps using BPMN and developing data-flow diagrams with Visio, Lucidchart, or draw.io.
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements, facilitating workshops, and developing business cases.
• Working understanding of SaaS, integrations, APIs, and data classification.
• Strong Excel, SharePoint, and Power BI skills with data handling experience.
• Clear written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the application register with owner, purpose, users, cost, and renewal dates.
• Reconcile the application register with procurement, finance, and asset records.
• Document current-state business processes, data flows, and integration maps.
• Run technology intake, collect business cases, and track requests through IT Steering Committee decisions.
• Lead requirements workshops and prepare requirements, user stories, business cases, and options analyses.
• Perform gap analyses and maintain the business capability map.
• Maintain the AI use-case inventory for the AI Governance Working Group.
• Track license renewals 90 days in advance and flag upcoming renewals.
• Support data governance by recording data owner and data classification for each system.
• Produce technology portfolio reports and dashboards for leadership.
