Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to drive outside sales in the HVAC/BAS space. You will build long-term relationships with building owners, engineers, and contractors, selling solutions rather than boxes.

Preference is given to candidates residing in Virginia, with responsibilities spanning account management, bid leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the HVAC or BAS Controls industry.
• 1+ years of sales experience in the HVAC or BAS Controls industry.
• Valid and current Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Build Partnerships: Develop and nurture long-term strategic relationships with building owners, mechanical contractors, and consulting engineers.
• Strategic Growth: Manage an assigned account portfolio, identifying high-potential prospects and navigating business development activities.
• Lead the Bid Process: Identify bid opportunities and lead negotiations to secure new business.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Service teams to ensure feasibility and customer satisfaction.
• Seamless Handoffs: Ensure smooth transition from sale to execution and set up the operations team for success.
