The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is seeking a Bureau of Vehicle Services Policy and Budget Coordinator to manage the BVS operating budget, contracts, and grants. This role is based in the Director's Office with a hybrid schedule and will require work from the Hill Farms State Office Building in Madison, WI at least 2 days per week.

The position involves analyses of motor vehicle policy issues, planning and evaluation for department programs, and collaboration with leadership

Qualifications

• Experience creating reports/spreadsheets in Excel or similar
• Experience coordinating and monitoring operational budgets and expenditures
• Familiarity with grants, contracts, or similar documents

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the bureau's operating budget, contracts and grants.
• Analyze a broad range of motor vehicle issues for content in Department policies, plans and procedures.
