Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, public administration, or a related field; associate's degree may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Performs Budget Analyst responsibilities for assigned programs and assists with Legislative Budget Request preparation.
• Monitors approved budgets and verifies FLAIR allotments reflecting changes to the approved budget.
• Analyzes and prepares budget amendments and uploads them into Budget Amendment Processing System (BAPS).
• Inputs allotment information into FLAIR.
• Provides administrative support for the Budget Office and maintains the budget calendar.
• Prepares salary projections and analyzes budget projections for assigned programs.
• Participates in year-end and startup activities and analyzes fiscal impact of legislation.
• Creates PDF files and uploads required formats for LBR and LRPP.
• Assists the Regulatory Program Budget Manager and staff with budgetary needs.
