Job summary

Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation is seeking a Budget Operations Specialist under the direction of the Sr Manager, Administration - CPSO, to coordinate budgets, expenditures, and administrative tasks across CPSO departments in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of experience managing multi-cost center budgets, with strong analytical, data-handling, and MS Office skills. Travel and occasional flexible hours may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business administration, accounting, finance or related field.
• Minimum four (4) years’ experience managing multi-cost center budgets, tracking expenditures, reporting results and trends.
• Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops, analyzes, and maintains departmental annual budgets across multiple cost centers; prepares budget estimates with justification and ensures timely submission.
• Monitors expenditures by tracking capital projects, reconciling purchase orders, verifying payment accuracy, and reviewing invoices.
• Conducts quantitative and qualitative assessments to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement; performs what-if analysis.
• Provides administrative, planning, and technical support across CPSO departments by drafting and updating internal documents and dashboards for reporting.
• Collaborates with Senior Manager and leadership to ensure continuity of operations and support policy implementation.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support department operations.
