Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation is seeking a Budget Operations Specialist under the CPSO to coordinate operational, budgetary, fiscal and administrative aspects in support of multiple departments. You will develop and analyze departmental budgets across cost centers, monitor expenditures, and produce reports to inform leadership decisions.

Under the direction of the Sr Manager, Administration - CPSO, the Budget Operations Specialist is responsible for the coordination of operational, budgetary, fiscal and administrative aspects related to the support of various departments under the Chief Physical Security Officer (CPSO).
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance or related field required. Minimum four (4) years’ experience managing multi-cost center budgets, tracking expenditures, reporting result and trends, or closely related work required. Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.
Ability to apply relevant math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing numbers, as well as working with decimals and percentages. Experience in the ability to evaluate, audit, deduce, and/or assess data in determining actual or probable consequences and in referencing such evaluations to identify and select alternatives. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to identify needs and requirements, develop recommendations, and evaluate outcomes against goals and objectives. Ability to manage large data sets to identify patterns and trends. Must possess the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; demonstrate ability to think creatively and strategically, articulate complex issues to a wide audience, and prepare written assessments as needed. Must have advance knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Requires the ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality and act in a manner consistent with all legal and regulatory requirements and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license. No Driving Responsibilities: Role does not require a driver’s license or insurance.

Primary work environment is in a climate-controlled office setting. Work requires travel to attend meetings, trade shows, and conferences. Incumbents may be required to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. Physical activities that apply to the essential functions of the position are balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Hearing sufficient to hear conversational levels in person, via videoconference and over the telephone. Speech sufficient to make oneself heard and understood in person, in front of groups, in meetings, via videoconference and over the telephone. Visual acuity that meets the requirements of the position: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading and visual inspection of employees, visitors or facility. Mobility sufficient to safely move in an office environment, walk, stoop, bend and kneel, and enter/exit and operate a motor vehicle in the course of travel to promotional events, meetings, conferences, trade shows and San Manuel properties. Endurance sufficient to sit, walk and stand for extended periods, and maintain efficiency throughout the entire work shift and during extended work hours.
